Weekly Training Net

PG ARES holds a weekly training net on every Tuesday at 7:30 PM on the K3ERA repeater, 145.230 MHz, negative offset, PL tone 110.9 Hz. The repeater is located in District Heights, Maryland, and is used courtesy of the Prince George’s County Emergency Radio Association.

If the repeater should go off the air, our secondary repeater is the K3GMR repeater, frequency 146.610, MHz, negative offset, PL tone 77 Hz. The K3GMR repeater is located in Bladensburg, Maryland, and is used courtesy of the Green Mountain Repeater Association.

HF Hospital Net

We also hold a monthly HF net to encourage members of the Maryland/DC Section and PG ARES to test their HF band equipment and practice SSB operations to support the Maryland Hospital Coalition, This net is held on the third Tuesday of each month, at 7 PM local time, on 3820 kHz (give or take a kHz or two for band conditions).
